Our History
AMANA is Founded
1993
Our vision was to create a de-centralised business model of regional leaders in industrial construction.
Since then, AMANA has led more than 1,500 projects to over 130 satisfied repeat clients across 7+ countries.
AMANA completes stables for the Office of HH the President at AL Wathba
2000
In February 2000, AMANA delivered Turnkey solutions to complete an equestrian facility and stables for the Office of His Highness the President at Al Watha.
AMANA completes 3 projects across 3 regions for Emirates Transport
2003
Three Turnkey projects were completed in Sharjah, Dubai and Abu Dhabi for Emirates Transport in 2003.
These included a Maintenance Center at Khor Fakkan, an Administration Building & Maintenance Center at Al Ain and expansion & development of Emirates General Transport branch in Ramool.
AMANA Introduces The Seniority Awards
2004
To recognise the employees who have been with AMANA for more than 5, 10, 15 and 20+ years, AMANA introduces the yearly ‘Seniority Awards’. A ceremony which celebrates and awards our loyal AMANAians.
Fresh Graduate Development Programme implemented
2004
AMANA launches a Graduate Development Programme to recruit high potential talents from selected universities to support the career growth of fresh graduates.
AMANA awarded 1st of 5 Projects with Al Shaya
2005
AMANA wins the Design-Build project of the Distribution Centre & Administration Building at Jebel Ali Freezone.
The project was the beginning of a long-standing relationship with Al Shaya and we have since delivered over 5 projects in total for our repeat client, across Saudi Arabia and Dubai.
AMANA awarded 1st Kuwait Project
2005
AMANA is awarded the Infiniti Car Showroom project, Kuwait. Delivering the design and build of state-of-the-art Infiniti Car Showroom.
AMANA awarded 1st of 6 Projects for Agility Logistics
2006
AMANA wins the Design-Build project of the Logistics Facilities at Mina Abdullah, Kuwait.
The project was the beginning of a long-standing relationship with Agility Logistics, we have since delivered over 6 projects in total for our repeat client, across Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait and Qatar.
AMANA Aviation Fueling awarded their first contract
2006
AMANA Aviation Fueling is awarded its first project, a new Fuel Farm Storage Facility consisting of JET A1 storage tanks and all related facilities, located at Al Maktoum International Airport.
AMANA completes the Cold Store Complex Project for Gulf Warehousing Company
2006
AMANA wins the Turnkey of the Cold Store Complex Project in Doha Industrial Centre, Qatar.
The project included a built up area of 32,500m² and was situated on 47,300m² of land. The entire facility was designed and constructed in less than 210 days. Learn more about the project here
AMANA Saudi Arabia is Founded
2006
AMANA Saudi Arabia is awarded their first project, PP & PH Buildings for Saudi Kayan Petrochemical and Samsung Engineering at Jubail Industrial City. The project size spans over 77,200m2 and was completed in 2009.
AMANA completes Project for Dubai Maritime City at Port Rashid
2007
The Workshops, Warehouses, Shops & Showrooms are constructed on 377,700m² of reclaimed land at Port Rashid and required over 5,000 tons of steel. The facilities were constructed on a fast track basis in two simultaneous phases. Learn more about the project here.
AMANA completes 4th of 5 Projects for Dubai Ports Authority
2007
AMANA completes the Light Industrial Units at Jebel Ali Freezone.
Dubai Ports Authority has continually trusted us to deliver certainty. Since our first assignment in 2004, we have delivered over 5 Turnkey projects for our repeat client across the region.
AMANA Clinic opens in the labour accommodation
2008
The first AMANA clinic was established to ensure the health and welfare of our workers, directly in the labour accommodation and whenever required.
AMANA completes the Non-Process Buildings for EMAL Smelter Complex
2008
Located in Taweelah, Abu Dhabi, the entire project consisted of around 85,000 tons of complex steel structures, out of which AMANA erected 65% (approximately 55,000 tons). Learn more about the project here.
AMANA Saudi completes the Fruit Cold Store for Del Monte Foods
2009
AMANA completes the Build of the Fruit Cold Store Project in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The project consists of 4 main buildings and 33 loading/unloading entries to store and distribute all types of fruit.

AMANA completes 5th of 10 Projects for ADNOC
2011
AMANA completes the Accommodation Units for ADNOC Petroleum Institute at Sas Al Nakhl.
Since our first assignment in 2005, we have delivered over 10 Design-Build and Turnkey projects across the region for ADNOC. We thank them for their continued trust in us to deliver on time, safely and within budget.
BIM is launched within AMANA
2011

AMANA awarded DESIGN DISTRICT (D3) Project
2012
Dubai’s Design District – D3 awarded the project’s first phase to AMANA to create a site that would boast the creative community with 11 office buildings, pop-up boutiques, event spaces, and galleries.
AMANA completes 5th of 21 Projects with Al Marai Company
2013
AMANA completes the Design and Build of the Infant Nutritional Products Manufacturing Plant & Accommodations, Saudi Arabia.
The project was delivered during our long-standing relationship with Al Marai, we have since completed over 21 projects in total for our repeat client.
Tatweer implemented for AMANAians’ Career Development
2014
As part of career development for AMANAians, AMANA implements Tatweer, a set of guidelines to follow ensuring everyone has the best and equal opportunity for progression.
AMANA completes the Ghayathi Community Hospital for SEHA
2014
AMANA completes the Turnkey project of the Ghayathi Community Hospital for Health Authority Abu Dhabi (SEHA) at Ghayathi.
The project consists of 50 patient beds across a built up area of 43,500m² and serves as a major hub in the region’s expanding healthcare network. Learn more about the project here

AMANA launches their Sustainability business offering to provide green building solutions across their projects.
We are LEED Certified and have been members of the US Green Buildings Council (USGBC) since 2010, delivering sustainable solutions across our clients’ facilities.
Outstanding Safety Performance awarded to AMANA
2015
AMANA was awarded a Certificate of Recognition from Abu Dhabi Ports for their Health & Safety performance on the build of Kizad Prebuilt Warehouses.
AMANA receives Taqdeer Award
2016
AMANA was awarded the Taqdeer Award 2016 for our dedication and commitment to labour relations. Taqdeer reviewed AMANA’s employment policies facilities, health and safety standards, recruitment and wage policies, labor relations, corporate communications, management transparency, rules and regulations and worker satisfaction.

AMANA Solar is Founded
2016
AMANA Solar is awarded their first project for Majid Al Futtaim’s Rooftop Solar installation at My City Centre, Barsha, Dubai.
AMANA Solar provides Design, installation and on-going maintenance of roof-mounted and car park solar panels. Learn more about our solar solutions here
AMANA awarded 1st of 3 Projects for Majid Al Futtaim
2017
AMANA wins the Build project of My City Centre, Al Dhait in Ras Al Khaimah.
The project was the beginning of a long-standing relationship with Majid Al Futtaim, we have since delivered over 3 projects in total for our repeat client, across Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah.
AMANA minimum Accommodation Standard was introduced
2017
AMANA introduces a minimum standard for their accommodation facilities to ensure the health and welfare of the AMANA labour community.
AMANA awarded 1st Project with DB Schenker
2017
AMANA wins the Design-Build project of the DB Schenker Central Logistics Hub & Office Facility in Dubai South.
The project was the beginning of a long-standing relationship with DB Schenker. Across Dubai, we have since delivered over 4 Solar and Contracting projects in total for our repeat client.
AMANA HR Helpdesk Launched
2018
AMANA implements an HR helpdesk to address the concerns and suggestions of AMANAians.
AMANA completes ‘Project Silk’ for Strata
2019
AMANA has completed their second project for repeat client Strata.
Consisting of a 8,500m² composite aero structures manufacturing facility and based in the heard of Nibras Al Ain Aerospace, Al Ain, UAE. The total duration of the project was 548 days, despite COVID-19 challenges.

A self service portal for the labour community is implemented, enabling easier communication and connecting the labour workforce with reliable local businesses in the UAE.

2019

AMANA completes 2nd Data Center for du
2020
AMANA completes the second Data Center for repeat client, du (Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company).
As part of twin location Project Nautilus, AMANA was appointed to complete du’s first leasable IT Data Center in Kizad, Abu Dhabi. Following this, AMANA also completed the Dubai Silicon Oasis Data Center within the same year.
DuPod, an AMANA Company was founded
2020
Building on from the success of DuBox, DuPod was founded as the pioneer in modular solutions and plug-and-play offerings. Driven by technology, they deliver certainty in solutions with their diverse eco-system of products. Learn more about DuPod here.
AMANA awarded their 8th Project with TRSDC
2021
As part of the Red Sea Development Project, Saudi Arabia, AMANA Saudi has been awarded the Design and Build of the Coastal Village Enlarged Studio Buildings.
This is the 8th project awarded to AMANA Saudi by The Red Sea Development Company. DuBox and DuPod were also engaged throughout the projects, reducing time to market by 30% and constructing in offsite controlled factory conditions.
AMANA Completes 4th Project for Schlumberger
2022
AMANA completes the Build of the Ace Base Expansion Project in Abu Dhabi.
We are delighted to have successfully completed the 4th project for our repeat client. Since 2006, Schlumberger has trusted us to deliver certainty across their Commercial & Residential, Energy and Oil projects, located in Abu Dhabi.
