My City Center Solar Carpark, Al Barsha

AMANA Solar was appointed to construct one of the first solar systems to be installed and connected as part of the Majid Al Futtaim Properties Solar Program, after City Centre Me’aisem’s installation.

The project was in-line with Majid Al Futtaim’s environmental commitment to achieve 5% of its total energy consumption from renewables by 2018.

The plant covers 66 Parking Spaces whereby in addition to the solar scope, AMANA supplied the steel, foundations, and complete civil works.

The 495 Polly-crystaline Solar Modules were installed to Generate 4.8 Million kWh of Energy thoughout its lifetime. This is equivallent to saving 7,869 Barrels of Oil.

Walkways installed on the top of the carpark structure to allow for easy cleaning and maintenance of the solar panels in the future and removes any risk of damaging the equipment.
