Groundbreaking of DSV’s Sustainable Logistics Facility in Jebel Ali

On January 22nd, DSV – Global Transport and Logistics proudly celebrated the groundbreaking ceremony for its new, state-of-the-art 30,000 square meter sustainable warehouse in its Jebel Ali Free Zone Logistics Park. In partnership with Arcapita and with Group AMANA as the design and build contractor, this facility will feature advanced automation systems, green building practices, and a focus on sustainability. Group AMANA, the leading regional design-build company, kicked off construction following a special groundbreaking event, having been awarded the official design and build contract for the facility. Utilizing Modular construction, offsite construction, and BIM technology, AMANA aims to deliver a high quality, more sustainable facility within 11 months. With a capacity for 75,000 pallet positions and specialized services for key industries like Healthcare, Technology, and Automotive, this facility marks a major milestone in DSV’s commitment to innovative logistics solutions. The project is set to have a significant impact on the region’s supply chain.
